Vision Statement for Sunrise Church

We are a growing community, experiencing God’s grace through Christ,
guided by His Word, empowered by His Spirit, and proclaiming
His Lordship in our world.

As the people of Sunrise Church we belong to God and devote ourselves to proclaim the Lordship of Christ over all of creation. In doing so we desire to reach the unchurched around us, teaching them the powerful message that Jesus Christ gives new life.

Encouraged by the guaranteed love of God,

We are drawn into a loving and accepting family called the Church of Jesus Christ.

In the security of our Church family, we:

Grow in our relationship with God through prayer and studying the Bible;
Help all people in as many ways as we are able;
Develop and use our God-given spiritual gifts to serve God through the power of the Holy Spirit; and
Share the great news that our world does belong to God.

We do this, joyfully and humbly, giving God glory in every area of life and looking forward to Jesus’ return.
